Black berries.
Vase shape plant with more stems but less laterals than Ilex crenata 'Helleri'.
Very similar to Ilex crenata 'Helleri' but larger leaf and larger shrub.
Landscape Uses Good for textural differences in foundation plantings.
Can be used as a dense hedge when planted close together.
Sometimes used for shaping or shearing into geometric shapes.
