Lustrous dark green. Short petiole. Green stems turning grey green to grey brown in the second and third years. Black berries. Vase shape plant with more stems but less laterals than Ilex crenata 'Helleri'. Very similar to Ilex crenata 'Helleri' but larger leaf and larger shrub. |
